RandomStorm Names Network Security Specialist Andrew Mason as CTO.
RandomStorm, the emerging force in vulnerability scanning technology, has named Andrew Mason, the Cisco security author and internetworking expert, as its CTO.
Andrew has over 15 years experience in the IT industry including 10 years specialising in network security where he rose to become one of the first CISSP qualified security consultants in the UK. As well as his technical expertise Andrew also brings significant commercial experience to the company as one of the founders of the leading MSSP, Boxing Orange. His appointment at RandomStorm comes as the company's embedded internal scanning appliance, iStorm, is launched in the UK.
Commenting on his appointment Andrew said, "My first goal is to technically differentiate the product portfolio. We have a very exciting and challenging roadmap and I am genuinely looking forward to the opportunity. I see RandomStorm becoming a market leader in the automated tools market. We will achieve this through technical innovation, reliability and above all else professionalism".
